Launch of IYGP 2025 – APWF and ICIMOD Online Side on Events Panel on “Tackling Glacial Melt and Water Challenges in the Hindu Kush Himalaya: A Science Diplomacy Approach for Regional Cooperation”
This event will be held on 21 January 2025, from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM Nepal Time / 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM Japan Time.
The Hindu Kush Himalaya (HKH) region’s glaciers sustain major rivers, supporting 1.5 billion people. Climate change accelerates glacial melt, threatening water security and ecosystems.
