Stockholm World Water Week (SWWW) Asia Focus
Stockholm World Water Week, hosted by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), is an international conference focused on global water issues. Experts, decision-makers, businesses, young professionals, and NGOs from across the world gathered to discuss water issues.
The Asia-Pacific Water Forum (APWF) served as an overall coordinator of the Asia Focus Sessions, having been exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding with SIWI since 2018.
Stockholm World Water Week 2021 Online, 23-27 August:
Stockholm World Water Week 2021 (SWWW 2021) was organized as a full-scale digital event from 23 to 27 August 2021. 418 sessions were organized, and 13,000 people listened to these sessions. As the regional coordinator of the Asia Focus sessions of the SWWW 2021. APWF collaborated with various organizations to advance water security challenges across Asia and the Pacific by sharing knowledge, experiences, and lessons under the theme of SWWW 2021, “Building Resilience Faster.” In 2021, we organized three sessions as the Asia Focus.
